Lac des Roches, South Cariboo, BC
When we passed Lac des Roches on our way to Wells Gray Provincial Park we stopped at a small gravel turn-out overlooking the western part of the lake. We couldn’t know that today they would call it the “most photographed lake in BC”. And indeed, the small island basking in the early morning sun was a picturesque sight and well worth a stop.
